We value knowing WHY we learn. Clear purpose emerges from discovering and walking in our calling that is aligned to our passions and talents. We believe this -- to go beyond learning simply to make a living -- is true equity and access, and is the way to make important and lasting impact in our community.
We believe in an intentional & thoughtfully integrated approach toward achieving wholeness. At Clay social, emotional, and physical health are the keys to strong school culture, leadership, and success in all areas.

We believe learning is most meaningful, enjoyable, and memorable when students experience how it matters in the world. Clay Academy's Impact Projects are authentic, collaborative, inquiry-based opportunities for students to explore & create real solutions to impact society.

We empower students through gradual release of independence and responsibility. Clay Academy's innovative spaces, student schedules, tools & leadership opportunities are designed to inspire and instill powerful perspectives and habits that result in all students becoming catalysts for change in their surrounding communities.

We empower adults by providing supports, mentors, powerful professional development, and self-care traditionally unseen in public schools to ensure we rise to the highest standards of excellence. We owe it to our students and families to be our best selves.
